Scented Nail Polish - Review

A few weeks ago I was browsing the Cartwheel app and came across scented nail polish - Revlon Perfumerie.  At first thought it sounded incredibly ridiculous.  I mean really, what is the point of scented nail polish?

As the next couple weeks went by I kept thinking about it.  I don't know why but my curiousity wouldn't leave me alone so I went back to Target and got a bottle so I could finally quit thinking about it.

So, this is the result:

Surprisingly, it works!  Not the best quality nail polish I've ever used, it was pretty flaked off by the next day (but in all fairness, I do work in a warehouse so I am hard on my hands).  The scent I got is Surf Spray and it does have an essence of the beach when you smell your dry nails, for at least the first couple days.

I'm not sure what the point of scented nail polish is yet, other than being able to tell people to smell your fingers in a not gross or perverted sense, but it does work and is different.

If you have the Cartwheel app for Target, you can still get this for 10% off until March 1st.  There were probably about a dozen colors or scents when I went.  I may go buy another bottle just for the fun of having scented nails.
